July 4th means big community celebrations all across the United States, but especially in La Jolla and all across San Diego County. Fireworks displays become the central highlight of the festivities each night and there are no shortage of choices for the residents of La Jolla, California.
The La Jolla Community Fireworks Foundation has been putting on a grand display at La Jolla Cove for over 25 years, but that is only one of your options. Along Crown Point, the Mission Bay area and all around Seaworld, fireworks put on by Seaworld are visible from many vantage points. Ocean Beach Pier offers another option, and, of course, you have the Big Bay Boom over San Diego Bay itself.
Displays start at 9 p.m. or 9:30 p.m., depending upon the location. Gather the family together and enjoy a fun, but safe, Independence Day celebration!
