Whether you have little ones to dress up in their costumes or just want to watch all the fun, it is always a good time in the La Jolla Village on Halloween. Each year the participating local merchants of La Jolla in the Village open their doors to hand out loot to the young trick-or-treaters during the Pillage the Village event. This event is growing, with proud sponsorship from the La Jolla Real Estate Broker’s Association, La Jolla Village Merchants Association and the La Jolla Kiwanis chapter.
The event will be held on Friday from 3pm to 6pm in the Village. Participating merchants will be identified by orange and black balloons posted outside their doors. There will be a costume contest with great prizes for the winners. It will be a ghostly good time for a Friday afternoon in La Jolla!
Even though La Jolla is often thought of as just a beach town, it is also a wonderful place to raise a family! La Jolla has some of the best schools in the San Diego area, with low violent crime. It is also home to fantastic art, culture and science, making it a fantastic place to grow up. Call me today if you want to learn more about living the La Jolla life and about the many incredible homes for sale in La Jolla. Happy Halloween!
